How to Request Data Deletion

If you connected your Facebook account to Chatlix and would like us to delete all data associated with your account, you can request deletion using any of the methods below.

Option 1 — Delete via Facebook

You can revoke Chatlix's access to your Facebook data directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook App Settings
  2. Find Chatlix in the list of connected apps
  3. Click Remove

This will revoke our access token. We will automatically delete any stored Facebook data within 30 days.

Option 2 — Delete via Chatlix Account Settings

If you have a Chatlix account, you can disconnect your Facebook account or delete your entire Chatlix account from Settings:

  1. Log in to your Chatlix account
  2. Go to Settings → Social Accounts and disconnect Facebook
  3. Or go to Settings → Account and select Delete Account to remove all your data

Option 3 — Contact Us Directly

Send a data deletion request to privacy@chatlix.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address or Facebook user ID associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation.

What Data We Delete

  • Your Chatlix account information (name, email)
  • Connected Facebook page tokens and permissions
  • Posts and media you created or scheduled via Chatlix
  • Analytics data associated with your Facebook pages
  • Inbox messages fetched from Facebook

Note: Content already published to Facebook is not deleted from Facebook itself — only from Chatlix's servers.
